1. Introduction

Welcome to the P2P Energy Trading app (“App”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”). This app enables real-world peer-to-peer electricity trading between verified users. The app is available exclusively to authorized users who are pre-approved and onboarded via a secure backend process.

By using the App, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions, and acknowledge our data protection and privacy commitments outlined below.

2. Eligibility & Access

• Access to this app is restricted to authorized users only, as validated by our backend.
• Unauthorized access or distribution is strictly prohibited and may be subject to legal action.
• Users must comply with applicable laws and energy regulations in their jurisdiction.

3. Functionality Overview

The App allows:

• Listing and discovery of available electricity (kWh) for trade
• Viewing energy trading offers from other users
• Participating in real-time trades backed by physical utility meter data
• Secure payments through integrated external channels

4. Payment Processing & Wallet Terms

Payments are managed securely through Pulse Energy escrow.

The following terms apply to payment processing and wallet usage:

For availing the Services, you shall select one of the payment mechanisms offered by The app and Pulse Energy. You shall be providing appropriate payment information to enable Pulse Energy to receive due amount against Transaction and create a valid invoice for the Transaction. You shall be depositing from time to time prepaid amounts against the bought energy will be deducted from that balance.

You authorize Pulse Energy to, from time to time, deduct amounts payable towards Session Fees from your account.

5. Data Usage & Privacy

• The App only collects your name and phone number for the purpose of identifying you as an authorized user.
• No other personal data, location, or contacts are accessed, stored, or shared.
• We do not share any user data with third parties except as required for facilitating payment via Pulse Energy or complying with legal obligations.
• Communications are secured via encryption where applicable.
• No analytics, advertising SDKs, or background tracking services are included.

6. Data Security

• All interactions with the App are encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
• Sensitive information (like payment activity) is processed securely via Pulse Energy escrow, and never stored directly in the app.
• We employ regular security audits and comply with best practices as guided by OWASP and Google Play policies.

7. User Responsibilities

By using the app, you agree to:

• Use the app for lawful, intended purposes only
• Not manipulate or spoof energy meter data
• Be responsible for securing your login credentials
• Maintain valid payment methods for participation

8. Limitations & Liability

• The App functions solely as a platform to facilitate peer-to-peer energy trading.
• We are not responsible for disputes between users or between buyers and sellers of energy.
• We do not guarantee uptime or performance of external services (e.g., Razorpay, Pulse Energy)

9. App Store Compliance

• The app does not include any in-app purchases (IAP) or digital-only services.
• All financial transactions reflect real-world electricity trade, verified through utility metering.
• Wallet functionality is escrow-based and not hosted in-app.

10. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be reflected within the App or through an appropriate update notice.
